Benigne is joining the Resonate Team as a Training Engineer, but first crossed paths with Resonate when she participated in the first leadership training that Resonate ran in Rwanda in 2013. Since that time, Benigne has demonstrated her clear desire to support other women and has become a coach for Resonate’s Storytelling for Leadership program.
Benigne is an experienced journalist, first representing the voice of her fellow youth at the age of 16 when she was a radio presenter and reporter for Urungano, a youth radio show and a project of Search for Common Ground Rwanda. She also worked as journalist and Brand Representative for Ni Nyampinga, a platform advocating for girls empowerment through Girl Hub Rwanda. In 2013 Benigne was invited to and participated in the Clinton Global Initiative conference in New York representing the voice of girls from her country.
Benigne graduated with a BSc in civil engineering from the University of Rwanda, College of science and technology in 2015 and she is a former Bridges to Prosperity Rwanda Communications Coordinator Fellow.
