Katherine Conway joins Resonate as the Chair of the Board of Directors in January 2015, after spending two months in Rwanda working with the Resonate team. Katherine is a believer in the power of storytelling to transform individuals and communities. She has a background in project design and management, strategic planning, and donor relations.
She currently works at the National Democratic Institute to support projects in Central America that engage marginalized populations in the democratic process, including election and violence monitoring. She is a graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy where she studied human security and conflict resolution. She completed her master’s thesis on the role of memory and storytelling in Rwanda and worked with Search for Common Ground to conduct a program evaluation of a conflict resolution program. While at the Fletcher School, she co-founded the Fletcher Storytelling Forum, which created a space for storytelling within the community.
