Program Manager - Job Description

The Program Manager is responsible for leading the program team and coordinating the workshop schedule. This includes increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of programs through feedback loops, and building partnerships on behalf of Resonate.  

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years experience, especially in facilitation or training delivery

  • 3+ years of experience in project management

  • 2+ years of experience in people management

  • Experience in curriculum design and development

  • Strong computer skills, including database management

  • Fluent in spoken and written Kinyarwanda

  • Advanced spoken and written English

Your responsibilities

Team & Program Management (45%):

  • Manage Program Coordinator(s) and/or Trainers, and provide support to ensure effectiveness and growth within the role

  • Conduct regular reviews of program feedback and make recommendations for program updates and innovation

  • Work with Country Director to implement program updates and innovation

  • High-level training implementation

Partnerships (40%):

  • Build relationships with new and existing partners with an aim toward creating long-term partnerships that drive financial sustainability

  • Support Sales Team in aligning workshop goals with partners and managing partner expectations

  • Create materials and work with the Communications Fellow to organize events to demonstrate our work to partners

  • Collect and incorporate partner feedback to improve product and delivery

Strategy & Planning (15%)

  • Work with Country Director to align on-the-ground program to long- and short-term strategic goals

  • Help anticipate staffing and budget needs so that the program team is always operating at full capacity

  • Create and manage Program Budget to complete projects within projected costs
