Resonate Communications and Marketing Intern

You are comfortable in a fast-paced organization and can learn quickly, manage multiple roles, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Responsibilities
The Communications intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Communications team in executing projects and will have an opportunity to develop valuable skills and gain experience in various aspects of communication strategies. To meet the communication needs and priorities of the Resonate team, the intern will collaborate closely with and report to the Communications and Marketing Lead.
The responsibilities are but will not be limited to:

  • Conduct research to identify relevant topics, hashtags, and influencers to incorporate into our communication strategies.

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information and materials for content creation.

  • Attend workshops and other relevant activities to capture photos.

  • Design artworks for promotional materials, including flyers, posters, and digital displays using tools like Canva.

  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand voice, style, and guidelines.

  • Create compelling content for various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with our audience in a timely and professional manner.

  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize content performance and identify trends.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct thorough research to identify relevant social media topics, hashtags, influencers, and market trends.

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva to create visually appealing promotional materials.

  • Basic photography skills to capture photos for content creation when attending workshops.

  • A solid understanding of various social media platforms.

  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and insights.

  • Willingness to collaborate with other departments to gather information and materials for content creation.
