It's Our Birthday

Wow.

I can hardly believe it, but today marks ONE YEAR since I first chose a name, a website, and took the first steps toward making the dream of Resonate a reality. Of course it wasn’t until five months later that we began implementing in Rwanda, but there was a lot of time, thought, work, and love that went in to making that happen. You are the people who have been with me from the beginning, so I want to celebrate with you.

In the first year, Resonate has

1. conducted 8 workshops,

2. worked with 9 implementation partners,

3.and trained more than 150 women and girls from Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya to use                   storytelling to present themselves, their values, and their goals confidently and eloquently.

We will be celebrating tonight by eating cake while we prep for a training tomorrow. We hope that, wherever you are in the world, you will celebrate with us, too.
