Responsibilities

The Enumerators will play a critical role in supporting the Monitoring and Evaluation team in completing projects. They will have an opportunity to develop valuable work skills and obtain specialized practical experience in data collection. To meet the Resonate team's M&E demands and priorities, the enumerators will work closely with and report to the M&E Associate.

The responsibilities are but will not be limited to:

  • Collection of data using pre-developed questionnaires and structured interviews

  • Facilitate qualitative interviews with participants

  • Ensure proper and accurate transcription of information gathered through interviews

  • Ensure completeness of answers for accuracy and consistency after the data collection

  • Ensure data quality by accurately and strictly following survey tools used for specific data collection

 

Requirements

  • Prior experience in conducting research using participatory approaches is essential

  • Excellent knowledge of English and Kinyarwanda

  • Strong interpersonal skills and high-level social intelligence

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to collect and gather information in an objective way.

  • Must have the ability to interpret and record responses appropriately without distorting the respondent’s meaning or confusing the reader
