Data Analysis and Visualization Consultant Position

Objective
The consultant will support in identifying, designing, and implementing a user-friendly analysis tool or system that centralises multiple datasets, enables rapid insights, and feeds into visual reporting platforms.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis
Propose and implement an integrated analysis solution that connects data from platforms such as Kobo Toolbox and Google Forms.
The tool will allow automated data analysis with features that minimise human errors.
Ensure the tool supports the disaggregation of data, advanced filtering, and trend analysis to drive organisational learning and informed decision-making.
Dashboard Design and Reporting
Design and build user-friendly, visually engaging dashboards for both internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure that dashboards accurately reflect key program indicators, trends, and disaggregated insights, supporting strategic decision-making.
Capacity Building and Documentation
Train internal team members on effective and independent use of the new analysis tool and related dashboards.
Develop and provide clear, easy-to-follow user guides and documentation, tailored for non-technical users.
Provide at least three months of technical support post-handover, even beyond the end of the contract.
Requirements
Proven experience designing and implementing data analysis systems/tools that interface with visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
Demonstrated ability to work with non-technical teams and translate complex data systems into accessible solutions.
Minimum of five years’ experience in data systems, analytics, or digital transformation roles.
Strong communication, training, and documentation skills.
The consultant must have the availability and commitment to deliver high-quality outputs within the agreed-upon timelines, as timely delivery is critical to our workflow.
